Papa was teaching the kids archery. They did really well. I hadn’t tried it since camp as a kid, but when the kids challenged me and wanted to see if I could beat them, I couldn’t resist!

I stood about 30′ away, where they’d been shooting from, and nailed a bullseye. And then again!

“Oh, yeah, mom?! Try it from back there!!” They pointed about 75′ away where the trees were. “Okay!”

I lined up the shot and — thwang — nailed it again! Even better than before.

Ha ha ha, take that kids! “Oh, mom! You’re good at EVERYTHING.” That’s probably the first time anyone’s ever said that about me, so you know what? I let it stand. I mean, how do you refute three bullseyes in a row?!
