Siah was following me all over the house, sticking to me like peanut butter on bread. Finally I asked him, “Why are you spending so much time with me?” He responded so sweetly, “Because I love you, Mama.”
Siah is so excited to be my big helper. And some of the things he does really makes me laugh. Like when I asked him to put the Christmas candle behind the toilet, and he put it behind the toilet…but UNDERNEATH rather than on top! (I’m going to make that a Christmas decorating tradition from now on!) Similarly, I asked him to put the cereal away in the pantry, and he put in on the floor of the pantry, front and center!
Siah loves to hang off doorknobs (not so cute), climb in precarious places (like the ledge off the garage), and jump multiple stairs at a time. He’s also super skilled at legendary spy and super ninja skills.
One of our friends stayed with us for a couple days. Siah asked her, “Can you stay with us til you go to see Jesus?”
My mom and sister took and hid the head from one of Siah’s toys. He was looking all over for it and kept asking them where his head was. They messed with him for a looong time, saying things like, “It’s right there! It’s on top of your shoulders! It’s between your ears!” After this continued waaay too long, Siah finally said, “Guys! You keep talking about MY head. But I’m not talking about MY head. I’m talking about my TOY’S head. See! (Holds up toy). Where’s my TOY’S head???”
