Q: Kelly, do you think that one of the ways Christians will experience difficult times in the “end times” is by major physical hardships? Will we be called upon to serve our God with an incredible faith during a time where science seems to be so advanced, and yet such tragic things happen to our physical bodies that we can do nothing about?I’m hearing of so many premature births, and lots of other near death/fatal experiences that very strong Christians are going through yet continuing to give God the glory. These lives end up being an amazing testimony of God’s grace, peace and love. It was just a thought I had and wanted to see what you thought.

A: It’s definitely possible. We just had a woman who moves powerfully in the Spirit visit us. She said (and I also believe) that we are at the beginning of the end times and that across the world, Christians are undergoing greater and greater hardships. “The hardest times of their lives” is the common theme. She believed it’s because our faith is strengthened in suffering (biblical principle) and that God is preparing us for greater and greater tests of faith that will soon be upon us.

2 Thessalonians 1:4We proudly tell God’s other churches about your endurance and faithfulness in all the persecutions and hardships you are suffering.
