Button was asking me if she could have a camp out with her friends outside in her tent. Then she recalled that her tent was broken. I told her she could have a camp out someday (like next spring, when it warms up…), but she couldn’t use her tent because it was broken.
She responded, “Oh! I know, Mama! Papa (my dad) can fix my tent. He can do anything! When he comes to visit me at Nana and Kaku’s, he can fix my tent then! Then we can have a camp out outside at night!”
It’s nice to know that she recognizes Papa’s amazing gifts, even at this age, and that she has the same impression of him that I’ve had my whole life.
